3 Easy Drinks for this Summer

Summer ain’t giving up, folks. ‘Whoa! It’s so hot’, has become a regular greeting in Hyderabad. If you want to look cool this summer, it ain’t just about the clothes you wear or the air conditioned room you sit in. It is also about the drinks you have to keep your soul away from getting charred. Let’s take a look at our favourite drinks for this summer.

  1. Lemon Mint Tea

Lemon Mint Tea

What you need: Water, Pepper Mint Tea bag, lemon, Mint leaves, Sugar. (Simple!!)

Boil water in a large saucepan over high heat; remove from heat, then stir in sugar until dissolved. Add the tea and peppermint tea bags, and allow steeping for 30 minutes. Remove tea bag and stir in the lemonade. Serve tea over ice.

2. Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade

What you need: Soda, Blueberry, Lemon juice, ice (loads of it), sugar (a little bit, don’t OD!)

Extract the blueberries. Keep the crushed peel. Extract the lemon juice and keep aside. Take your favorite drinking jar and fill the bottom with lemon juice and then top it up with blueberry extract. Put ice cubes. Add a spoon of sugar. Top it up with a bit of lemon juice and then close the jar and shake. Put a straw and enjoy.

3. Watermelon Cooler

What you need: Watermelon, one Cucumber, Sugar, Salt, Mint Leaves…

Deseed the water melon and juice it without adding milk. Make sure chunks remain. Add thinly chopped cucumber and make sure it remains like that in the juice. Add one spoon of sugar and a pinch of salt. Shake it a bit and top it with a few crushed Mint Leaves. Voila!
